Dubai based owner Sayed Hashish enjoyed a memorable & profitable day on Saturday 10th February when his horse Colour Up won the Listed Jebel Ali Sprint. In winning the coveted event the son of Mehmas won the Emirates Sprint Series bonus taking prize money for the day to over £115,000 – not bad for a horse who cost just 16,000gns from the Tattersalls Craven breeze-up sale.
Colour Up was purchased to race in Dubai and with the exception of his debut has not been out of the first 4 in 10 starts, winning 5 of those races and career earnings of £300,000.
