Northern Angel who I purchased from the Goffs Orby Yearling sale for €100,000 won her 2-year-old maiden on just her 2nd start when winning at Nottingham on 18th August. The daughter of Dark Angel had run 2nd on her debut and showed great battling qualities to win here for jockey Jason Hart and trainer John Quinn.
