Tattersalls Book 1 sale saw 2 yearlings sell for a total of 600,000gns from mares that I purchased for a total of 25,000gns.
The first yearling was Lot 101, a Dark Angel filly out of the unraced Shamardal mare Mirror Effect. I purchased Mirror Effect from Darley as a 3-year-old breeding prospect for just 10,000gns. This filly, her 2nd foal sold for 270,000gns.
The second yearling was Lot 413, a Showcasing filly out of the unraced Danehill Dancer mare Dance Pearl. I purchased Dance Pearl from Qatar Racing as a 3-year-old breeding prospect for just 15,000gns. This filly, her 1st foal sold for 330,000gns.
