A brace of December Yearlings Purchased
Richard Knight was delighted to have come away from the Tattersalls December Yearling Sales with 2 smart colts purchased.
The first bought was a very sharp looking Lilbourne Lad colt who looks every inch a 2yo. He is a 2nd foal and the first foal who is called Power Play won no less than 3 races this year as a 2yo and is rated 93. He cost 34,000gns and will be trained by William Knight.
The second bought was a Teofilo colt out of the Halling mare Turn Of A Century. Turn of a Century was a winning 3yo rated 82 and is dam of 5 winners from 5 runners including the 87 rated Jazz Master & 82 rated Time N Talent. Turn Of A Century is herself a half-sister to no less than 3 Group 1 winners in Kayf Tara, Opera House & Zee Zee Top. Amazingly, he was bought for just 11,000gns and will also be trained by William Knight.
