Safe Voyage continued and quite possibly finished his fine season with a career best 3rd in Queen Elizabeth II Gr.1 at Ascot on Saturday 19th October. The son of Fast Company who I purchased for £52,000 as a yearling from the Goffs UK Premier sale added a further £118,000 to his prize money record with this fine 3rd on Champions day under jockey Jamie Spencer. With 3 wins in 2019 including the Group 3 John Of Gaunt Stakes and a placing in the Prix de la Foret Gr.1 Safe Voyage really has enjoyed a superb season and there is every reason to think he can do similar in 2020.
