Bintknight collected over £45,000 in prize money when she won a Class 3 fillies’ maiden at Lingfield on 26th May.
The 3-year-old daughter of Pinatubo was making just her 2nd racecourse appearance when winning the 10f event by a neck from the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Asset. Always well positioned throughout the race, Bintknight handled Lingfield’s tight final bend on the turf track well and managed to kick clear of the 2nd horse and was always holding her at the finish line.
The large prize money sums came as a result of the race carrying the Great British Bonus (GBB) and GBB Plus, which was created to help British-bred middle-distance fillies.
