Grey Galleon who I purchased from the Tattersalls Guineas breeze-up sale for 29,000gns won his 2-year-old maiden over 5f at Windsor on Monday 25th July. The grey son of Mizzen Mast was making just his 2nd start and was always up with the pace before battling well to beat the well regarded Tschierschen by a head with 4 lengths back to the 3rd horse. A horse with some size and scope he should progress through the rest of his 2-year-old year and into next season.
Congratulations to his owners BA Racing & Richard Levin and to his trainer Clive Cox.
