Pearls Or Passion who I purchased as a broodmare prospect enjoyed a great day on Sunday when her 2nd foal and daughter Pelligrina won the Prix de Royaumont Gr.3 at Chantilly. The daughter of Soldier Hollow was making just her 2nd start and won comfortably by 2 1/2 lengths and will now target Arc trials later on this season.
Her dam Pearls Or Passion who I purchased from the Tattersalls December mare sale is herself a daughter of Monsun and I purchased her as a wildcard entry after she had won a Listed race in France. Pearls Or Passion has now bred 2 winners from 2 runners with both produce achieving black-type on the track.
