€26k Breeze-up purchase The Stalking Moon wins 2-year-old maiden

Posted on 27 August 2016

The Stalking Moon who I purchased from the Goresbridge breeze-up sales in May won her 2-year-old maiden at Redcar today in good style. The daughter of Arcano who was purchased for €26,000 from Willie Browne’s Mocklershill Stables had shown good form in her 3 previous starts and made no mistake over the 6f distance. Settled in behind the pace Tom Eaves waited for a gap to open and when it did The Stalking Moon took her chance and pulled clear going to the line.

Congratulations to her owner David Ward and to her trainers John & Sean Quinn.
