€33,000 yearling selection Waikuku placed 2nd in Hong Kong Mile Gr.1

Recent Hong Kong Gr.2 winner Waikuku very nearly became my third Group 1 winner when placed 2nd in the Hong Kong Mile Gr.1 on 8th December. The son of Harbour Watch who I selected for legendary trainer John Oxx as a yearling was drawn widest of all for this Group 1 race and did incredibly well to come so wide and lose by just 1/2 length. Here’s hoping a Group 1 win is within grasp over the coming months ahead.
