I am delighted to report that my first 2yo runner of 2017 is a winner as Jasi won on debut for Sheikh Abdullah Al-Malek Al-Sabah and trainer Richard Fahey. I purchased the son of Kodiac with Sheikh Abdullah from the Goffs UK Premier sale where he cost £50,000.
In the race today he broke smartly under jockey Paul Hanagan and made virtually on a surface we were unsure about for him. He is a relaxed Kodiac so it is likely he will improve for the run and I would imagine he will be out again in the not to distant future.
A great start to the season and well done to Sheikh Abdullah and his Al-Areen Racing and to Richard Fahey and his team.
