Beauly, a daughter of Sea The Stars who Richard Knight purchased as a foal won on debut at Wolverhampton on Monday in the 1 mile maiden.
Beauly was very green in the paddock but went on to win in a straightforward manner looking like a nice prospect for the future. Her jockey Luke Morris commented ‘Beauly has done well there, as she’s a lovely big filly but she’s just so raw at the moment. She’ll come on leaps and bounds for this and should be a nice filly for later in the year, and I think she’ll be better on the turf.’
Congratulations to her owner R A Bartlett and her trainer Charles Hills.
