Blitz who I purchased as a foal showed great speed and battling qualities yesterday when winning over 5f at Windsor racecourse. The daughter of Exceed And Excel had run well in a Class 2 handicap on her last start and was dropped to class 4 level here to win her 2nd race off a rating of 80. Only lightly raced she is likely to keep on improving and is under the excellent watchful eye of trainer Clive Cox.
