Good 48hrs as Yearling purchases Seaella and Pixeleen win
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October saw two nice winners for my yearling purchases just at the time when I was very busy with the Tattersalls yearling sales. First up was €14,000 Tattersalls Ireland purchase Seaella who won a 2-year-old conditions race in France, her third win in just her first season racing. She looks progressive and has clearly enjoyed the very soft ground in France – a Listed race might be next on her agenda.
Then on Saturday 7th October £23,000 yearling purchase Pixeleen won a Class 2 6f handicap at Newmarket. The daughter of Pastoral Pursuits who I purchased for trainer Malcolm Saunders from the Doncaster Premier sale has now won 5 races and been placed in Listed company – her next target is a Listed race at Newmarket on Saturday 14th October.
