Dual Listed winner Priceless continued her upward curve on Saturday 27th May with victory in the Gr.2 Temple stakes for owner Alan Spence and trainer Clive Cox. 4-year-old filly Priceless is the result of one of my mating plans and I also purchased her dam Molly Brown privately in the Summer before Priceless was conceived.
Molly Brown had long been a favourite mare of mine having purchased her son Brazen as a foal for 40,000gns and re-sold him for £80,000 as a yearling. He was no slouch being rated 91 and winning 5 races so when the opportunity to purchase Molly arose I leapt at it on behalf of a client. Molly had done extremely well from low level coverings with the exception of Brazen who was by Kyllachy so there was only one place for her in my mind, Exceed And Excel. Priceless the resulting progeny was a lovely foal and yearling and sold for 70,000gns as a yearling to Clive Cox. The rest is history as they say and fingers crossed she can now progress to Group 1 level.
Congratulations to owner Alan Spence and to trainer Clive Cox and his team.
