It was good to see Lady Macapa return to the winners enclosure today when winning the class 3 handicap at Windsor over 5f. Off a rating of 93 the daughter of Equiano showed good speed to blitz her rivals from the front and win quite comfortably by the post.
I purchased her with William Knight for a bargain price having been led out unsold at the Doncaster yearling sales – she was a filly we had seen and both liked during the Summer of her yearling year on the farm of her breeder. This was her 2nd win and she achieved black-type as a 2yo last year and with a likely handicap rise to around 98 or 99 now will likely head back into Listed company.
Congratulations to her owners Fromthestables.com Racing.
