Arqana yearling purchase Pablo Escobarr topped a fantastic 2019 for me on 4th December when becoming my 6th individual black-type winner of the year (5 of which were purchased for less than £55,000). The 3-year-old son of Galileo had previously run 2nd in two listed events including when 2nd in the Lingfield Derby Trial to subsequent Epsom Derby winner, Anthony Van Dyck.

Pablo Escobarr is likely to now head to Dubai to contest the Dubai Carnival races and looks set for a very exciting 2020.
