With every day that passes a new stallion retires and the 2019 stallion fees are being released. This is the time to get your thinking cap on if you have a broodmare and if you would like some assistance then I would be delighted to help. My first job would be to understand from you what the mare is like physically – what height is she, what are her conformation faults, what do her foals look like, etc ? And then the question of whether you are breeding to race, breeding to sell or trying to tick both boxes. Once I have as much information from you as possible I will go away and research her race record, pedigree and then produce a mating plan for you with different stallion options. A few more chats and some more thinking and its then a matter of seeing what stallions are available and at what price we can use them. Once agreed you will be sent a contract and mare forms and we are set for the season ahead.
Recent successes include the 2017 Group winner Priceless and the 2017 Tattersalls Book 2 record breaking Exceed And Excel filly who sold for 500,000gns.
And the best news . . . my advice is FREE so long as I book the nomination and the stallion farm pays a 5% commission once the mare is in-foal and the nomination fee has been paid.
