Strong trade but 4 quality foals purchased at Goffs
The trade was strong but Richard Knight was delighted to have come away from the Goffs Foal Sales having purchased four quality foals.
Richard started with a quality filly foal by first season sire Foxwedge who is himself a son of Champion sire Fastnet Rock – she cost €30,000. The 2nd foal purchased was a very athletic Cape Cross colt foal who was purchased for €50,000 and is likely to come back to the October Part 2 sales in 2015. The third foal purchased was a daughter of Arcano who is sister to Group winners Tropical Paradise & Harlem Shake – she cost €30,000. The fourth and final purchase was a quality Sea The Stars filly closely related to Gr.1 winner Mourayan who Richard purchased for €160,000.
The sales circuit now moves onto Tattersalls in Newmarket for the Yearling sales on Monday (24th November), the Foal sales from Wednesday to Saturday (26th to 29th November) and then the mare sales from the following Monday to Thursday (1-4 December).
