Richard Knight has just returned from the Tattersalls Ireland Yearling Sales where he purchased 5 yearlings with The Wow Signal’s trainers John & Sean Quinn.
The first horse purchased was Lot 39 (photo above), a Zebedee colt out of the 3-time winning Exceed And Excel mare Sampers. He cost €60,000.
The second purchase was Lot 70, an Excellent Art colt out of the winning Danehill Dancer mare Sparkling Crystal. He cost €10,000.
The third purchase was Lot 145, a Fast Company filly out of the Namid mare Alltherightmoves. Alltherightmoves is a sister to Listed winners and Gr.1 performers Alboostan & Crown Of Light – she cost €35,000.
The fourth purchase was Lot 258, a Yeats colt out of the Danzig mare Elayoon who has already produced 3 winners – this colt was bought to run on the flat first but in time will be seen jumping a hurdle as he is a brother to 2 winners over jumps. He cost €28,000.
The fifth and final purchase was Lot 441, a Kheleyf filly out of a winning Speightstown mare called Perino. Perino is herself a sister to Listed winner Adaala and Listed placed performer Biggerbadderbetter – she cost €40,000.
