2-year-old colt Bombay Bazaar is improving rapidly and showed a great turn of foot to win the Bet365 Two-Year-Old Trophy at Beverley on Saturday 10th June. The son of Kodiac was winning his 2nd race from 3 starts and turned in an impressive performance to beat Fusterlandia by ¾ length despite having to carry an extra 4lbs in weight (to that rival) due to his previous win.
Bombay Bazaar is a homebred colt of Hussain Alabbas Lootah’s and we have retained a yearling half-sister to him by Mohaather who will go into training in 2024. Bombay Bazaar will now likely head to Royal Ascot and will contest either the Windsor Castle Stakes L.R. or Norfolk Stakes Gr.2.
Congratulations to his owner/breeder Hussain Alabbas Lootah, trainer Richard Fahey and jockey Oisin Orr. Congratulations also to Brian O’Rourke and his team at Copgrove Hall Stud who foaled and raised Bombay Bazaar.
