Just back from the Goffs February sale and managed to purchase two great value fillies for breeding. The first purchase was Lot 513 Ruzma a 3-year-old daughter of Exceed And Excel who is half-sister to the Gr.3 performer Naseem Sea. Ruzma is also half-sister to 3 other multiple winners and well rated performers in Sejalaat, Gold Peregrine & Dragon Gate and their dam Laqataat is dam of 4 winners from 4 runners. The 2nd dam Jawlaat produced 3 winners from 4 runners including the Group performers Thajja & Khulan and the 3rd dam is Elle Seule who was dam of Champion racehorses Elnadim & Mehthaaf. Ruzma cost just €4,000.
The 2nd purchase was Lot 570 Hint Of Glas. Hint Of Glas is an unraced 4-year-old by Silver Frost out of the Cadeaux Genereux mare Party Bag. Party Bag is the dam of 2 winners from 2 runners and both are black-type performers. Like Hint Of Glas both black-type performers were fillies and Faustina (by Antonius Pius) won a Listed race in France and Undaunted Affair (by Spartacus) was Gr.3 placed in Ireland. The pedigree goes back to Group 1 winners including Corrazona & Thirty Six Red. Hint Of Glas cost just €8,500.
