Hajjam who I purchased as a yearling for 25,000gns won his maiden over 7f at Lingfield on Wednesday for owner Sheikh Abdullah Al-Malek Al-Sabah and trainer William Knight. The son of Paco Boy was making his seasonal reappearance having run 4th & 3rd in maiden races as a 2-year-old and won in good style under Jim Crowley.
